Scott Alderman is a Managing Director of Trilogy Search Partners. Previously, he was on the investment team of Trilogy Equity Partners. Prior to Trilogy, he spent 11 years at Western Wireless in various roles, including Chief Financial Officer of Western Wireless International which operated mobile networks in Europe, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean.
He serves on the boards of Botanical Designs, Dragonfly Pond Works, Market Equipment, and Radiation Detection Company and as a board observer for DriveSafe. He has a BA from Whitman College and an MBA from Harvard Business School
Cregg Baumbaugh served as Executive Vice President – Finance, Strategy and Development for VoiceStream Wireless (now T-Mobile U.S.) from inception through its 2001 sale to Deutsche Telekom. In addition, he served as SVP – Corporate Development of both VoiceStream and Western Wireless. Previously, Cregg worked at The First Boston Corporation. Cregg received his BS and MBA degrees from Indiana University.
He is also a Managing Director of Trilogy Search Partners. Cregg previously served on the boards of Asurion and Pacific Pulmonary and currently serves on the board of Trilogy Equity portfolio company ResponseLink, as well as Trilogy Search portfolio companies ABS and Dynamic Growth Dental Support. He is a board observer at TDR and BEX Realty. Cregg lives in Marin County, California.
Alan Bender held various positions with Western Wireless and VoiceStream Wireless (now T-Mobile USA) from 1990 to 2005, including Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to that, Alan was Vice President of Product Development and Senior Counsel of a subsidiary of PacifiCorp Inc. He previously practiced law in private law firms in New York City for nearly a decade.
Alan received a BA from Washington University St. Louis and a JD from Duke University School of Law, where he is a current member of the Board of Trustees. He also is a member of the Entrepreneurial Council at Washington University St. Louis and on the boards of the Diabetes Research and Training Program Board at University of Washington Medical Center, the Tacoma Rainiers, and The McCallum Theatre. He was formerly on the board of Special Olympics Washington and Temple de Hirsch Sinai.
Cole Brodman is CEO of M-87, a Trilogy portfolio company that was recently acquired by XCOM. Prior to joining M-87, Cole was a member of Trilogy's investing team. Before joining Trilogy, he served as a key member of the T-Mobile USA senior leadership team for nearly 17 years, leaving the business in 2012. At T-Mobile, he was a C-level executive in technology, product, and marketing positions including roles as CTO and CMO. During his tenure at T-Mobile and its predecessor, VoiceStream Wireless, he helped the business from pre-launch stage to becoming a national leader in wireless innovation with nearly $20B in revenue and over 30 million customers. He has been in telecommunications since 1988, starting his career at Northern Telecom, where he helped introduce, manage, and market digital wireless infrastructure products and technology to North American wireless operators.
Cole has a BSEE from the University of Texas at Austin, and a MBA from Southern Methodist University. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Eastside Catholic School, as well as on the advisory boards of several technology companies.
Donald Guthrie was Vice Chairman of the Western Wireless Corporation, where he also served as Chief Financial Officer. Don also served as Vice Chairman of VoiceStream Wireless, now T-Mobile USA, subsequent to its acquisition by Deutsche Telekom AG. Earlier in his career, Don served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of McCaw Cellular and as Senior Vice President – Finance for LIN Broadcasting. Don currently serves as a director of Trilogy portfolio company JetClosing.
Don has a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Todd Heiner is the Founder and Managing Director of Ridgeline Capital Group, a family office based in Utah. Todd was previously the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of Express Locations LLC, a T-Mobile Premium Retailer representing T-Mobile USA. Todd was an early member of the Pacific Northwest Cellular, Western Wireless and VoiceStream Wireless teams serving as Executive Director and Vice President of National Sales. He served as a director for ZAGG Inc. (Nasdaq: ZAGG) from 2012 through 2018.
Todd received a BA from Utah State University. He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah where he enjoys boating, mountain biking and activities with family.
Brad Horwitz in partnership with John Stanton and Terry Gillespie, founded Trilogy International Partners in 2006 following the sale of Western Wireless Corporation to Alltel. Trilogy International(TSX - TRL) was formed to acquire wireless international assets in Haiti and Bolivia and to develop additional international wireless assets, primarily in South America and the Caribbean.
Prior to forming Trilogy International, Brad served as president of Western Wireless International, having founded the company in 1995 while also serving as an executive vice president of Western Wireless Corporation. Previously, Brad was a founder and COO of SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited (Hong Kong), an affiliate of McCaw Cellular Communications, Inc. Prior to that, Brad worked in various management capacities for McCaw Cellular including serving as vice president of international operations. He currently serves on the boards of Mobile Giving Foundation, the Center for Global Development, and Hong Kong Broadband Ltd. Brad has a BS from San Diego State University.
