Matthew Aved Joins Trilogy Equity Partners Team

We’re excited to welcome Matthew Aved to Trilogy as an Analyst on our investment team, where he’ll work on sourcing, diligence, and supporting our portfolio companies.
“Matthew brings sharp quantitative instincts and real curiosity about how companies get built,” said Amy McCullough, Managing Director at Trilogy. “He’s a natural fit for how we work with founders, and we’re thrilled to have him on board as we keep backing the Pacific Northwest’s best early-stage teams.”
Matthew graduated with Honors from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in economics and mathematics. Before Trilogy, he was a venture scout for LvlUp Ventures and Seamless Ventures and interned at Tech Coast Angels. He also worked as a research analyst at the Lowe Institute of Political Economy and as head mentor at the Quantitative and Computing Lab.
Outside of work, you’ll find him on a golf course, in a national park, at a new restaurant, or wandering a museum.
“Trilogy has spent two decades helping build the Pacific Northwest’s tech ecosystem, and I’m grateful to be part of that work,” said Matthew. “I’m looking forward to learning from this team and working alongside the region’s most ambitious founders.”
Trilogy Equity Partners is a Seattle-based venture capital firm backing exceptional founders at the earliest stages across software and AI.
